This cooktop looks and works great. The grates are machine washable so keeping them clean couldn't be easier. I recommend using the Bosch stainless steel conditioner before first use and periodically thereafter. Keep the stainless steel clean by wiping with a sponge and drying with a microfiber cloth after each use. You won't regret buying this cooktop.

We really like the fact that this cooktop has different btu capacities for each burner. The size of the burner gives you a visual clue as to it's btu capacity so you can easily decide which burner you should use for fast warm up, frying and simmering. _ Really clever!

The range stove top is fantastic - we love the precise simmer control. All the neighbors are jealous and want Bosch appliances. I think if you could have a brush stainless finish, it wouldn't show scratches so much.

I like the layout of the gas cooktop. I am not happy with the gas igniting element. It's faulty at times and won't light. The temperature dials are sticky and don't move easily. I am not pleased with this product.

Nothing burns!

Had a Fisher Paykel cooktop. It was manufactured wrong- supposed to be liquid propane but had natural gas controls. They wouldn't stand by their product. Settings were high flame or simmer. This new Bosch cooktop does as it advertises. Slow simmer, medium, high as expected. We are cooking more on this in 2 months than FP brand in 3 years. Love the German engineering and quality. Clean-up is easy.

Very FRUSTRATING..for an expensive cooktop ! The flames ignite when pressing down the knobs but do not stay on. I see others are having the same issue, don't understand how this is possible for the $'s we spent, will be contating Bosch to ask how this is possible with a brand new appliance, bad design ??

Very unhappy with this cooktop. We converted this cooktop from NG to Propane upon installation back in September. For the first few months, individual burners would light and not stay lit. Checked all of the bypass valves to see what the issue was and got all burners working fine for a month or two. Today, after cooking a pot of soup, we tried to relght the burner under the pot. Again, it would light but not stay lit. All other burners are doing the same thing. Changed the propane tank, no change. All burners will light but not stay lit. This was an expensive cooktop that we saved up for. Had to cut an existing stone countertop to install it. Nw I've got a non-working $1,000+ cooktop and it's less than a year old. Very disappointing.

So sleek and functional!

We bought our cooktop to replace an old one of a different brand that was limping along. This Bosch is like going from a Fiat to a Ferrari - it has even flame and a lot of variation of power on each burner. I like the simmer cap on the smallest burner so I can do things like melt chocolate without a double boiler. It's brilliant. The center burner with its double gas ring is amazing - I can boil a large pot of water in under 5 minutes. We frequently (pre-Covid) host large dinners for friends and family. I can't wait to use the 5 burners to cook for everyone. This thing is great and I highly recommend it.

Burners Will Not Light

Unfortunately, I am also experiencing the issue mentioned several times below where the burner will ignite but as soon as I let go of the knob, the burner goes out. This is extremely frustrating. For so many customers to have this experience, there must be a flow in the design. I have always used and loved my Bosch appliances but this is really unacceptable.
